Welcome to the gender wiki

This wiki will inform you about the way we work on gender issues within the ICCO-alliance. We are developing this wiki and the first step is to give links to interesting websites on specific themes in relation to gender. Gradually we will also upload our own documents on gender.

Gender policy development

The ICCO alliance is in the process to develop a new gender policy. During 2009, meetings take place with the alliance partners, ICCO's regional offices and partner organisations to establish a common gender policy. A specific policy development area is part of this wiki, which is accessible to the involved stakeholders ('members') to follow the proces and share input. As soon as the gender policy is final, it will be shared on the wiki.

Gender Based Violence workshop at the World Social Forum 2009

ICCO and KerkinActie organized a workshop about Gender Based Violence at the World Social Forum 2009.

In this workshop we focussed on gender based violence in (post)conflict situations and the issue of femicide.
